Alice in Wonderland themed A6 Birthday card
Alice in Wonderland themed A6 Birthday card
Hi Craft Addicts!
As some of you may know if you read my blog regularly (and I hope you do!), I was offered the chance to use some of Hunkydory's fantastic products and write about them here.... So, today's card is one I have made from the Once Upon a Twilight Wonderland collection. It is really simple to make and I hope you will try it too!
How I made this card:-
- I never quite know what to do with the A4 cardstock as sometimes I can't see how I can make a smaller card out of it, but one of the sheets included in the kit leant itself to cutting in half to make 2 A6 cards which I did - keeping the two bits of the design on opposite sides.
- I then took one of the smaller of the toppers (there are 4 larger and 4 smaller ones in the kit, including sentiments which is great value for just £2.99!)
- I stuck it to some ivory/cream card using some PVA glue and trimmed it so there was a narrow border left around it.
- As I wanted to give it a bit of dimension, I added some thin foam tape (on a roll) to the back and placed it on the left hand side of the card.
- I then took one of the sentiment toppers in the kit and adding some foam tape to the centre of it, bent it slightly using my fingers and added it to behind the main topper.
- For the inside I used one of the sheets from the Once Upon a Twilight Perfect Backgrounds Stamping pad using a tape pen on the left hand side (or top depending on how you look at it) added it to the card.
