Butterflies and flowers blank card - Day 290 of my 366 day challenge
Butterflies and flowers blank card -
Day 290 of my 366 day challenge
Hi Craft addicts!
Today's challenge (day 290) is a card made using a lovely Hunkydory topper along with a backing panel from Craftwork Cards.
To make the card:-
- I decided to use this really pretty "Flowers and butterfles" topper from Hunkydory (not sure which collection it comes from) and split it away from the two frames (I will use the biggest one on another project).
- I then coloured the background panel which comes from Craftwork Cards (I took the smaller panel out again to use at a later date) using some "Red - R01" and "Blue - B01" from Generation INX to give it a muted effect.
- I also cut down a pre-cut "Gold" Mirri card panel (from Hunkydory) to fit the card leaving a narrow border all around and glued them both to a white "Linen effect" card.
- I stuck the smaller of the frames on it making a diamond shape and then added the topper on top of that using foam pads.
- Finally, I added some "Sugared Almond" Nuvo crystal drops to each corner.
And there you are - a card made a topper and some pre-cut Mirri card! and don't forget you can visit The Handmade Crafts Shop anytime to see what else I have for sale or sign up to my monthly newsletter here
