New Baby narrow DL card - Day 41 of my 366 day challenge
New Baby narrow DL card - Day 41 of my 366 day challenge
Hi Craft Addicts!
So for day 41 of my 366 day challenge, I have made a New Baby card which I think could be sent to either sex - but the background and embellishments could easily be any colour!
So, I cut out the BABY blocks using the Tattered Lace Baby dies in white card and then glued them to some bright red linen card (which you can get from Craft Creations) once I was happy as to where I wanted them.
I then cut the block out and placed it on some embossed cream card (I used the Heart Trellis 5" x 7" embossing folder from the Love and Romance Sara Davies collection) and edged it using a Spectrum Noir Alcohol marker. I had used some Tim Holtz Distress inks to highlight the hearts in yellow and orange.
Once the block was dry, I then placed the panel on to a narrow DL hammered card using some Sitx2 foam pads. I then cut out a safety pin and bottle in the matching red cardstock using the Baby die sets from Trimcrafts "First Edition" collectiion. and glued them to either side of the panel.
I then used a small sentiment from the Hunkydory's Book of Sentiments 2016 - am going to try and design a proper insert to go into future ones...And there you are a fun NEW BABY card which you can buy on my website here.
I also added a red safety pin to the envelope flap.
