Celtic Knot used on a Kraft square card - Day 38 of my 366 day challenge...
HI Craft addicts!
It is day 38 of my 366 day challenge and yep am still keeping it going (absolutely amazing to be honest...). Anyway, for today's challenge, I have gone back to the Celtic theme as I really love this Celtic knot design that you can find as a peel off sticker from Craft Creations - again it shows that the stickers have still got a place in card making - just have to choose the right ones!.
So, I have placed the peel off sticker on to some black cardstock (I use the Lynda Chapman's option from Creative Crafting World, and then stuck it onto some cream paper.
Once that was dry, I then added it to a panel of Kraft card which I had die cut using the Spellbinder's Square Swatch dies.
I then glued it at an angle on to a pre-cut deckle edged 100mm square cream hammered panel (again from Craft Creations) and let it dry.
I glued a strip of ribbon on to the front of the card and stuck the panel on to it so that it looked as if it was a parcel. I then glued some orange brads on to opposite corners.
The insert was one that I designed myself using Serif's Craft Artist Professional 2 and added my own sentiment to it "Happy birthday all year through, On this day from me to you!" (Poetry isn't necessarily my strongest skill)..
.I taped it on the front left hand edge and attached it to the card - this makes it open to the inside every time!
And there you are - one easy but stylish card that you can buy from my website here
