You don't have to be perfect.... beautiful flowery 7x5in card -
Day 100 of my 365 day challenge
Hi Craft addicts!
Well today is day 100 of my 365 day challenge and I am offering a free give away as a "celebration" - just go on to my Facebook page to find out more... www.facebook.com/FizzyDesigns
How I made this card:-
- I took the Misfit Monsters mask (from Hunkydory's For the Love of Masks) and placed it in one corner of a 7" x 5" white card - I used Khaki and Lavender Mist from Rare Earth and a darker blue from Altenew.
- As the mask is a square one, I moved it slightly to finish it off.
- I then took a black alcohol marker and edged it so there was a rectangle space inside.
- The topper measures 135x95mm (approximately A6) and I coloured the whole panel using dark and light blue inks (from Altenew) trying to make it look sky-like with it being lighter in the middle.
- I then stamped the reed image on it using Onyx Black Versafine ink and quickly added some Clear embossing powder to it and heat set it with a heat tool.
- I also added the You're beautiful sentiment to the top right hand corner from the same Stamps by Me set, this time stamping it with Versamagic and Seafoam White embossing powder so it stands out more!
- To finish the panel off, I edged it a dark blue alcohol marker and stuck it in the middle of the card using permanent sticky dots and glued a Tattered Lace fern die-cut on the right hand side.
And there you are a card that is a fun card which is simple to make and would be great to give!
