Happy birthday Tango couple in silhouette 7" x 5" white card - Day 122 of my 366 day challenge
Happy birthday Tango couple in silhouette 7" x 5" white card -
Day 122 of my 366 day challenge
Hi Craft addicts!
So for today's challenge, this is a quick and easy card using a topper from the "Shadows and Silhouettes" card making kit from Kanban, I haven't used the cards that came in the kit as I don't think they are substantial enough but love this image of a couple dancing the Tango in silhouette!
I took the main topper away from the border that came with it and glued the latter onto some silver mirror card (either Kanban or Hunkydory sell pre-cut sizes). I had cut the frame slightly so that it fitted better and glued that to a 7" x 5" white card that Hunkydory sell as they are great quality. I had used a sliver of the "waste" to make a narrow border which I placed in the centre of the card.
I then stuck the topper on to the centre of the background, slightly offsetting it so you can see some of the silver using a double lot of foam pads. I also added the "Happy Birthday" sentiment to the bottom of the card again using a double lot of foam pads.
For the inside, I wanted something different so designed this "Happy Birthday to you" message on my Brother Scan n Cut CANVAS and then cut and drew it out on some lilac/blue Cricut "Wildflower" 12" x12" cardstock.
And there you are a really attractive card for all occasions - you can buy it from my website here
