Abstract flower peel-off - they do have their place today.. Day 27 of my 366 day challenge
Hi Craft addicts!
So, for my latest blog, I thought I would make a stylish card using a peel off sticker flower - and I think I have succeeded..
So for this card I had a 7" x 5" tan coloured card from Hunkydory (in Adorable Scorable) spare from one of their previous kits so thought the colour would go well with what I had in mind.
I first of all placed the peel off (which I got from Craft Creations) on to a pre-cut brown deckle edged panel (which I got from them too) and added a couple of the smaller flowers to add an extra interest.
I then die-cut a scalloped fancy edged panel in white card and glued the flower on to it.
Whilst that was drying, I used a scoring board to score some lines at regular intervals down the whole of the front of the card - I then scored the bottom of the half of the card in the remaining spaces. To separate the two, I added a patterned strip along the centre of the card.
I then glued the white panel in the centre of the card and then added some gold and yellow Nuvo crystal drops in the centre of the flowers and then in the spaces on the white panel. The card has been left blank on the front but there is room for a sentiment to be added which could then be repeated as an insert inside.
And there you are - one stylish card that uses peel-off stickers as a focal point. You can buy this card on my website here.
