Day 3 of the 366 Day challenge - You are Lovely (bird design) square card
You are Lovely (bird design) square card
Hi Craft Addicts!
Well. day 3 of the 366 day challenge and this time I have done a 6" square card using the lovely "Beau Papier" paper collection from Craftwork Cards.
So, to start with I cut a square of patterned paper (13cm) and stuck it to some white cardstock using a tape pen and then coloured the edges to match the bird topper.
I then used a panel (floral embossed) from the "All White" card collection and using the Tea Dye Tim Holz mini ink pad blended it to co-ordinate with the backing paper.
Having made sure that it was dry, I then found some orange and white spotty "washi tape" and placed it in the centre of the panel and then stuck it all on to the backing cardstock.
Once I was happy with it, I then glued the bird panel on to it making sure that it was centred ok and then using Stix2 foam pads, I placed the whole thing on a 150cm (6") scalloped edge card (but you can of course use any square card).
To add some more colour to the card, I used the blue Tonic Studios Nuvo Crystal drops on some of the flower centres.
And there you are a bright and cheerful card using the "You are lovely" bird topper from Craftwork Cards!
