Best Wishes Butterfly DL card Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is one i have made using a Butterfly die along with some gems from Hobby House. How I made this card:- I cut some of the Green Tartan paper (from Craftstyle's A4 paper pad) and trimmed it to fit a DL card (leaving a narrow border around it). I used a wet glue (Pinflair's Glue-it Bookbinding glue) to attach it to the front of the card. I had some strips of Silver Holographic card (from Hunkydory) left over and stuck one long strip to the left hand side and a shorter one towards the bottom of card. Cutting two Butterflies (one in the Silver Holographic and another in a pale pattern ( I think it is a Tattered Lace die), I glued them together and stuck it (at a slight angle) towards the top of the card using the Bookbinding glue again. Love and clouds Valentine's Day card Hi Craft addicts! Well what a glorious day it is today and so I thought I would share this card with you! How I made this card:- I first of all created the background using Gansai Tambi watercolour paints - I really like these as they create an opaque effect. I then used the Lawn Fawn Cloud (Landscape die)  and placed it over the card and cut it out (it is an A2 die and can be obtained from Bumbleberry Crafts here in the UK). I edged it with a Black alcohol marker (any with a chisel tip will do). I took a piece of Vellum/Parchment which was slightly longer than the panel and cut it into a strip with a wavy edge. I used Gina K Black Amalgam ink and stamped the Love sentiment and heart on to it (placing the panel behind it so I made sure it was in the right place) and used my heat gun to dry it off a bit. Someone special.. Valentine's Day card Hi Craft addicts! Well the sun is shining which makes a change and so have made this slightly different Valentine's Day card using some older and new dies.... How I made this card:- I had cut out the Someone Special Heart (it is an old Tonic Studios die) ages ago and thought I really need to use it up (like the last card I made). I had cut it out in red card but needed it to have mat layer so I glued it to some pale pink card (which matches one of the abstract Hearts) and cut around it. I have recently got the Plaids, Spots and Stripes card from Paper Dienamics and I used one of the blue patterned pieces and used Broken China Distress inks from Tim Holtz to ink the edge. I then attached it to some darker blue plain card and cut around it leaving a very narrow border. Love - heart on hand coloured background with trellis background Valentines Day card Hi Craft addicts! Well Valentine's Day is only a couple of weeks away and so I have made this quick and easy card that is slightly different as there is NO red on it! How I made this card:- I first of all went into Brother's Canvas Workspace and used the heart in a ring design (it isn't one of their standard designs) and cut it out in white card. I also painted the background using a variety of Green Gansai Tambi watercolour paints and let it dry. I then cut it out using a square die (from Tattered Lace) and stuck the heart on to it using Pinflair Bookbinding glue. I then used the A5 Trellis die from Honeydoo Crafts and cut it out in Black card (from Lynda Chapman's World of Paper) and glued it to the front of an 7x5in white card. Be Mine heart card  Hi Craft addicts! I hope you all had a good weekend!  Today's card is one that could be used for Valentine's Day and is really easy to make... How I made this card:- I had cut out the Be Mine Heart (it is an old Tonic Studios die) ages ago and thought I really need to use it up... I love Tartan patterns and the pad that Craftstyle produced some time ago has a wide variety of colours and I used one of the Green shades to use as the background which is slightly smaller than the A6 white card I am using. I stuck the tartan panel on to the front of the card using Pinflair's Glue it Bookbinding glue, leaving a narrow border around it. I then cut out a frame (using 2 different rectangle nesting dies) in Black card and a smaller panel out in Silver/Holographic Mirri card (from Hunkydory) and stuck the frame to the top of the Silver card using the Pinflair glue. Love and Kisses Butterfly on heart card Hi Craft addicts! The weekend has come around so quickly hasn't it? I made this card a few weeks ago and was really pleased with how it turned out so decided to share it on here! How I made this card:- I used a scalloped edged heart nested die (there are quite a few Companies that now produce them) and cut it out in Black card. I then cut out the Butterfly die (I think it is a Tattered Lace one) in White card and stuck it to the front of the heart with some Pinflair Glue it Bookbinding glue. I also used the square panel die from Tattered Lace's Antique Lace 3D Decoupage collection to cut it out in White card. Once I had taken out all the waste bits, I then edged it with some Blue ink (any will do but I think it is from Altenew this time). I also edged all sides of a 6" square card so that it matched. Love abstract bubbles 7" x 5" card Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is a really simple one making use of self adhesive paper/card to create the main background - if you want to know more then carry on reading! How I made this card:- I cut out the Bubbles die (from a new collection by HoneyDoo) in red self adhesive paper or card (this is some left over from DoCrafts). I removed all the bits from it, as it is self adhesive some stay within the pattern and don't just fall out. I then attached the whole panel directly on to the front of a 7" x 5" white card, burnishing it down with some spare paper to make sure that all the air has been removed. I had also cut it out in black card, and randomly stuck some of the bubbles etc back into the design (I used Pinflair's Glue it Bookbinding glue).
