There are so many ways... beautiful... DL white card

Hi Craft addicts!

Well, here is another card that I have made for #WorldCraftWeek - this time using a Sharon Callis sentiment stamp , Rare Earth inks and an Altenew stamp for the flowers.


How I made this card:-

  • I used a pre-cut panel (from Sweet Dixie) of white stamping card and dusted it with an anti-static bag.
  • I then stamped the sentiment... There are so many beautiful reasons to be happy (from Sharon Callis) on to it using Versamagic and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.
  • Once it had cooled down, I then used various ink cubes (from Rare Earth Reaction collection) to create the background.
  • When I was happy with the colouring, I then used a piece of kitchen roll to remove the excess ink so that the lettering popped out and then edged the panel with a blue/green alcohol marker.
  • I then added a piece of lime green self adhesive paper to roughly a quarter of the left hand side of a DL card. I also added a narrow strip of blue Mirri card to the right edge using Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue.
  • I placed the panel over the green card (not sticking it down) to see where I was going to place the flower image and then used the smallest stamp from the Leaf Medallion collection from Altenew and stamped it using the same ink pads as I had used for the panel.
  • Finally, I added the sentiment topper on to the card with foam pads to give it some height.

And there you are a bright and cheerful  white DL card which was made using Stamps from Altenew and Sharon Callis, some Rare Earth Inks and self adhesive paper.

  Hi Craft addicts! Well today's card is one that would be great for Valentine's Day and makes use of both dies and stamps! I had cut the backing layer for another project but didn't use it so decided to use it with this one. It is a Rose Gold colour Mirror card and the die is from Stamps By Me (I think). I attached it to the front of a 7" x 5" white card using fingerlift tape as I didn't want to have any glue showing. Hummingbird shadow effect on C6 white card -  Day 267 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's challenge (day 267) came about after I had cut out the "Songbird" die from the Couture collection and thought it would be really useful as a stencil using some inks. To make the topper:- I had cut out the "Songbird" die (from Couture by Create and Craft) out in white card and thought that it would make a really good stencil to use as a background. I took one of the Stamping card tags from Craftwork Cards (in the " Stamping Must haves ) collection and coloured over the die-cut in various places (also reversing it so the bird was looking the other way).I used a variety of green ink pads - Tm Holtz " Mowed Lawn " and Generation INX G01. Relax, Calm Unwind 6in black pearlescent card -  Day 265 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! The rain has finally stopped and so I have made this simple but effective card using stamps and dies... How I made this card:- I used one of Tattered Lace Floral Wreath dies to cut out the main topper in white card. I then coloured it with various shades of green alcohol markers and when I was happy with it, I stuck it to some Gold Mirri Card (approximately 3" square) and then using Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue (or Gina K's Connect glue) I attached it to the front of a 6" black pearlescent card which is part of the Core Collection from Create & Craft so it formed a diamond shape. Using Orange, Red and Yellow Bleeding Art Tissue, I coloured some card and when it was dry I used a Tattered Lace Nested Beads Essential Circle Dies to die cut a circle.
