Have an amazing birthday floral 7x5 white card....

Hi Craft addicts!

I had great fun making this bright and cheerful card using dies and stamps and I hope you like it!


How I made this card:-

  • I first of all cut out the main floral frame (from Tattered Lace) in a dark teal blue paper and then the main panel again on white card.
  • I stuck the blue one on top of the latter only using the narrow edge to glue it.
  • I then stuck the whole panel on to the front of a 7" x 5" white card using Collall All Purpose Glue as it allows me a bit of wiggle time..
  • I then used the large flower stamp (from one of Toni Darroch's collection from Stamps by Me) and stamped it with black Gina K Amalgam ink on to some white card.
  • I used Crafter's Companion Tri-blenders (Purple marker) to colour the flowers in and then one of the green ones to colour the stalks.
  • I cut it out leaving a narrow white border around it and glued it to the left hand side of the card.
  • I also used a torn edged die to cut out a circle again in white card and stamped the bottom flower (from the larger stamp) on to it again using the Gina K ink and coloured that one in with yellow marker.
  • I used a Cornflower Blue ink (from Rare Earth) to add a background to it and then edged it in a brighter blue alcohol marker and placed it on the bottom right card corner, this time with foam pads.
  • Finally, I used the Have an Amazing Birthday sentiment stamp, this time using red and blue ink pads and added it to the top right hand corner.

And there you are a bright and cheerful white 7" x 5" card which was made using stamps from Altenew, Tattered Lace dies, some Rare Earth Inks and markers.

  Hi Craft addicts! Well today's card is one that would be great for Valentine's Day and makes use of both dies and stamps! I had cut the backing layer for another project but didn't use it so decided to use it with this one. It is a Rose Gold colour Mirror card and the die is from Stamps By Me (I think). I attached it to the front of a 7" x 5" white card using fingerlift tape as I didn't want to have any glue showing. I stamped the cute kids image out on to some white stamping card using Gina K Obsidian Black ink - the stamp is from Bring on the Boys collection from Linnie Pink I coloured them in using Crafter's Companion Spectrum Noir Triblenders as they make colouring in so easy with the 3 shades in one pen. I used blue and green Distress Oxide inks for the background and then edged it with a black alcohol marker. Hummingbird shadow effect on C6 white card -  Day 267 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's challenge (day 267) came about after I had cut out the "Songbird" die from the Couture collection and thought it would be really useful as a stencil using some inks. To make the topper:- I had cut out the "Songbird" die (from Couture by Create and Craft) out in white card and thought that it would make a really good stencil to use as a background. I took one of the Stamping card tags from Craftwork Cards (in the " Stamping Must haves ) collection and coloured over the die-cut in various places (also reversing it so the bird was looking the other way).I used a variety of green ink pads - Tm Holtz " Mowed Lawn " and Generation INX G01. Relax, Calm Unwind 6in black pearlescent card -  Day 265 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! The rain has finally stopped and so I have made this simple but effective card using stamps and dies... How I made this card:- I used one of Tattered Lace Floral Wreath dies to cut out the main topper in white card. I then coloured it with various shades of green alcohol markers and when I was happy with it, I stuck it to some Gold Mirri Card (approximately 3" square) and then using Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue (or Gina K's Connect glue) I attached it to the front of a 6" black pearlescent card which is part of the Core Collection from Create & Craft so it formed a diamond shape. Using Orange, Red and Yellow Bleeding Art Tissue, I coloured some card and when it was dry I used a Tattered Lace Nested Beads Essential Circle Dies to die cut a circle.
