Boo! Witch and black cat on hand coloured background card -- Day 289 of my 365 day challenge
Boo! Witch and black cat on hand coloured background card
Day 289 of my 365 day challenge
Hi Craft addicts!
Well I have been a bit frustrated with my computer crashing just as I was going to write this post but here it is ....
How I made this card:-
- I first of all coloured a large piece of white stamping card with various reds, yellows and oranges distress inks and blended them in to create a sunrise/sunset background.
- Once I was happy with it, I left it to settle and cut out the Trellis background (from Tattered Lace) in black card.
- I took out all of the diamonds but kept the top ones in sticking them back with a PVA glue and attached it to the sunrise background.
- I trimmed the background to fit the trellis and stuck it to the front of a 7" x 5" white card using it as a tent fold card.
- I then cut out the Witch and Black cat in black card and glued them to the card with PVA glue.
- I also cut out the BOO! sentiment twice, once in Orange and another in white and attached them to the card near to the witch and cat.
- I also had the cemetery bit left over from another project so added that to the bottom left hand corner.
And there you are - a homemade/handmade card that was made using only a few products but is fun but stylish for Hallowe'en.
