Couple in rain Splash of Colour 5in Z fold card - 365 day challenge
Hi Craft addicts!
Today's card is one that could easily be used for Valentine's Day or really just to cheer someone up!
- I first of all took a 5in white card and scored it down the middle of the front piece and folded it back on itself and scored it again to give it a good crease.
- I then cut out 3 panels of grey textured card (from Crafter's Companion 12" paper pad) allowing a very narrow border.
- I stuck them to the card using PVA glue (this time Dawn Bibby's glue).
- I then cut out the Couple under an umbrella in black card (Lynda Chapman's from Creative Crafting World) having first attached it to some Wild Spider Self Adhesive sheet.
- I removed the backing sheet and placed the die-cut on the front panel, trimming the umbrella as it was slightly too big.
- I then used an anti-static bag and dusted the inside panel, then stamped the sentiment (from Honey Doo Mandala collection), added some True white embossing powder and heat set it.
- Finally, I cut out the small heart (any will do) 3 times, glued them together and attached it to the bottom of the sentiment.
