Season's Greetings - Industrial Chic Steampunk Santa and sleigh Christmas card -
Day 327 of my 365 day challenge
Hi Craft addicts!
Today's card for day 327 of my challenge is a Steampunk themed Christmas card featuring Santa on a motorised sleigh!
How I made this card:-
- I first of all used Kuretake Gambai Tansi watercolour paints to create the background - I wanted it to look mysterious so used purples, greens, blues and yellows to create the atmosphere.
- I cut out the Art Deco frame (using a Tattered Lace die) and having trimmed the background to fit, stuck it to the centre of the frame using PVA glue.
- I then cut out the Industrial Chic Santa and Sleigh (from Creative Expressions) in black card, and stuck it to the panel again using PVA glue.
- I then glued the panel on to the front of a 7" x 5" Kraft card using PVA glue.
- I also cut out the Season's Greetings sentiment out in a pale teal Mirror card using an old Tattered Lace die and again used PVA glue to attach it to the right hand side of the card.
- Finally, I used a white Gel pen to add some stars and a cream paper insert so that there is space to write your message.
And there you are - a Christmas card what would be great for all ages!
