Joy to the World - Mother and Child card -  Day 334 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is a Christmas card but could also be used for a new baby which I have made using Tattered Lace dies, Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolour paints and Maribu Flip Flop paints! How I made this card:- I cut out the Mother and Child Tattered Lace die out in white stamping card. I then painted another sheet of card using Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolour paints - blues and blacks mainly. I used one of Tattered Lace's Rectangle Torn Edge dies to cut a panel out and then dusted it with an anti static bag.  Using Versamagic ink, I stamped some flowers all over it and added Clear Embossing powder to heat set it. Once it had cooled down, I used a flat paint brush to add some of Maribu's Flip Flop paint and covered it - it is really hard to see in the photo but it changes colour from pink to blue depending on the light. It dries very quickly and so I used a PVA g...

Smile... Frog with Christmas hat and ball square card -  Day 333 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's latest handmade card for day 333 of my challenge is a fun Frog themed winter card which could be for Christmas or a Winter Birthday! How I made this card:- I then used the frog with a ball stamp from Personal Impressions' Christmas Frog Smiles set and stamped it on to a prepared circle of white stamping card (Hunkydory) using Tuxedo Black Memento ink. I then coloured it in using red, pink and blue alcohol markers for the hat and ball, along with a light green for the frog itself! Once I was happy with the effect, I stamped the SMILE sentiment underneath the frog using Toffee Versafine ink. I then used a couple of snowflakes from Dawn Bibby's Magical Christmas Scene stamp set, and stamped them all over the card using Rare Earth's ink pads (red and blue and a darker blue).  Once that was done, I then cut out a larger circle in the silver ho...

Cute Snowmen on 2 handstamped 4in cards -  Day 332 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I had great fun making these cards using stamps and alcohol markers - they are small cards so could be used as tags too! How I made these cards:- Card One (left) I have had the oval mats and layers from Hunkydory for ages and thought I need to use them up so used a medium sized one for the card on the left. I stamped the skating snowman out on to the white INK me oval card using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, trying to make sure it was in the middle. I coloured it in using Orange, Red and a cool Grey alcohol markers (any will do but I used Prism markers from Hunkydory). I then attached it to the Gold layer using a tape pen, again trying to make sure it was centred. I also added some blue and green dye based inks to create a background. I have painted the background using Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolour paints (blue shades painted horizontally) and then cut it out using a T...

Today's card for day 331 of my challenge, I have made this simple but stylish Merry Christmas card.... How I made this card:- I first of all cut out the Christmas Bells die from Tattered Lace in white card. When I was happy with the way it looked, I stuck it to the front of a 7" x 5" white card (from Create & Craft's Core Collection but other companies sell them) using PVA glue. I then attached the Merry Christmas sentiment label tag (from an old collection by Craftwork Cards) using foam pads. Finally, I used the Orange Marmalade and Strawberry Coulis Nuvo drops from Tonic Studios and added 3 d...
