Life is good with you around - fairy and ferns 7x5in card -
Day 123 of my 365 day challenge
Hello Craft addicts!
Today's card (day 123 of my 365 day challenge) is one using Tattered Lace Minx (or Trixie) Fairy die, one of the Forest Pines Fern dies and a sentiment from For The Love of Stamps.
How I made this card:-
- I cut a piece of chocolate brown card just a bit smaller than the white 7x5in hammered card and edged it with a darker brown alcohol marker.
- I then stuck it to the front of the card using a tape pen.
- I cut out the Fairy die (it could be either Trixie or Minx) in white card and stuck it to the left hand side of the card.
- I then cut out the Ferns again in white card and stuck parts of it on the right hand side (I left some of the fronds unstuck so it gave it some dimension.
- Finally, I cut out the ornate label tag and whilst still in the die coloured it using a bright blue ink pad (Altenew).
- I removed it from the die and then stamped the sentiment Life is Good with you around using Versafine Onyx Black ink and placed in between the fairy and fern using foam pads.
And there you are a card that is simple to make and would be great to give!
