Love and Kisses Butterfly on heart card

Image
Love and Kisses Butterfly on heart card Hi Craft addicts! The weekend has come around so quickly hasn't it? I made this card a few weeks ago and was really pleased with how it turned out so decided to share it on here! How I made this card:- I used a scalloped edged heart nested die (there are quite a few Companies that now produce them) and cut it out in Black card. I then cut out the Butterfly die (I think it is a Tattered Lace one) in White card and stuck it to the front of the heart with some Pinflair Glue it Bookbinding glue. I also used the square panel die from Tattered Lace's Antique Lace 3D Decoupage collection to cut it out in White card. Once I had taken out all the waste bits, I then edged it with some Blue ink (any will do but I think it is from Altenew this time). I also edged all sides of a 6" square card so that it matched. I stuck the Heart and Butterfly panel on to the white card using the Pinflair glue again and then attached th...

Love abstract bubbles 7" x 5" card Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is a really simple one making use of self adhesive paper/card to create the main background - if you want to know more then carry on reading! How I made this card:- I cut out the Bubbles die (from a new collection by HoneyDoo) in red self adhesive paper or card (this is some left over from DoCrafts). I removed all the bits from it, as it is self adhesive some stay within the pattern and don't just fall out. I then attached the whole panel directly on to the front of a 7" x 5" white card, burnishing it down with some spare paper to make sure that all the air has been removed. I had also cut it out in black card, and randomly stuck some of the bubbles etc back into the design (I used Pinflair's Glue it Bookbinding glue). Once I was happy with it, I then used Craft Buddy's Alphabet dies (any will do) and cut out the LOVE in red card. I then stuck them on to some w...

Bird's House Celebrate card...

Bird's House Celebrate card... Hi Craft addicts! I had great fun with this die from Sue Baker to make this Celebrate card... here's how I made it.... How I made this card:- I cut out the Bird's House die from one of Sue Baker's collection in a pale Kraft card. I also cut out one of the birds and a leaf in white cardstock./ I attached the Bird's House to the front of a 5" square scalloped edged card using Pinflair's Bookbinding glue. I then stuck the heart that came from the middle toward the top left hand side of the card again using Pinflair glue.  Using the Celebrate sentiment stamp which is part of a collection by Creative Expressions, I stamped it directly on to the front of the card using Black Gina K ink. I then added the bird and leaf on to the relevant parts of the design and used a Black fineliner pen to outline inside the heart. Finally, I coloured some plain self adhesive pearls with an orange alcohol marker and added ...

Congratulations - daffodils tag z fold card Hi Craft addicts! I am so glad to be back on here - it has been a few weeks since I wrote about my cardmaking as I haven't been able to do much - life and flu definitely got in the way!! Anyway, I hope you like this card and enjoy reading how I made it.... How I made this card:- I had some very old candy striped cards from Craftwork Cards and decided to cut them up to make panels for various projects. This one is the pastel one and I cut the front panel into two (measuring approximately 2" x 4" and edged them both with a black alcohol marker. I then took a 5" white card and folded the front in half back on itself so it created a Z fold effect. Using Pinflair Bookbinding glue, I attached both panels to the front and inside of the card. I then cut out the tag (from Toni Darroch's Stamp by Me) in her Green glitter card. I stamped out the largest of the daffodil stamps (from Sheena Douglass...
