`12 Quick and Easy cards to make
Hi Craft Addicts!
These cards would be great to make with kids or for them to give to teachers etc, as they are made from fabric and foam flowers which are cheap to buy and so would be really great for you to make with children!
Set 1 |
Anyway - here are the cards I have made using them - as you can see they are all 3in square cards - either in white or cream which you can get from Papermania - The Glitter Pot stocks both colours here
Set 2 |
I know it usually is better to have 3's but some of them were too big to be able to do that. As you can see from the pics I also used some other shapes such as the crescent and star shapes to make a moonscape - I also did one using a larger flower shape.
I must admit I did them on at a time and played around with colours and shapes until I was happy with them. I then used a Graph-it White marker to make stems and then used 2 shades of green Nuvo Crystal drops to add a bit more dimension to them. I also added various different colours to the flower heads to make them a bit more interesting.
Once they were dry, I then glued them to the cardstock at an angle as I thought it looked better but you could of course make them straight - I haven't added any sentiments as I think they could be used as quick thank you cards or even gift tags...
I hope you like them - I must admit I am pleased with them as I think they look fun and despite being cheap to make stylish...
You can now buy either set on my website (just click on the link under the relevant photo) or visit www.thehandmadecraftsshop.co.uk
