A7 notebooks with Nursery Rhyme theme from Graphic 45
Hi Craft Addicts!
I really love the variety that Graphic 45 offers - their papers are an excellent quality and can be used for a host of different products.
This time I have used the Mother Goose papers to decorate these 2 A7 notebooks (bought cheaply off a well known auction site) - they have plastic covers and are in a variety of colours so have tried to match the papers to the original colours!
You could buy the more expensive Europa A7 notebooks which are better quality but these will do nicely for inexpensive gifts/party bag fillers...and the person who gets one will know that you have definitely made the effort to make them more cheerful.
To decorate these notebooks, I have selected the background papers that co-ordinate with the toppers I wanted to use (there are so many to choose from) - and covered both back and front with it (having rounded the bottom corners to match the notebook) - as these notebooks have an elastic band paper holder you have to make sure that this isn't covered when doing it! - I used Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue as it really does stick almost everything!
After leaving them to dry I then added some border peel-offs which I got from Craft Creations in black at the top of the notebook to add an extra detail.
For the Humpty Dumpty notebook I added a border of the mini "postage stamps" on the front (you can do the same on the back if you want) and then added the Humpty Dumpty topper which I had matted on to black card to make it stand out.
I quite like them to be at a jaunty angle but you can put it on straight too!
As these are small notebooks, I haven't added a sentiment on these ones but you can do (see my next blog for ideas).

For the Girl skipping I have done the same as above but this time added some orange and white dotty Washi tape as a border.
