Peace, Joy Love Heart Kraft card -  Day 324 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Well today is a really miserable one outside, so thought I would make this quick and simple card for day 324 of my 365 day challenge. How I made this card:- I have had these heart die-cuts (from an old set from Tonic Studios) for ages and thought it about time to use them! The largest of the two was cut out of cream/ivory linen effect card and the smaller one in a Kraft card - I like this particular card as it has a textured effect. Before attaching the two hearts on to the front of a 6" square Kraft card, I stamped the reindeer (from the Furry & Bright For The Love of Stamps set by Hunkydory) several times using Versafine Toffee ink. I then stamped the Hedgehog from the same set on to the smaller Heart (again using the Toffee ink). Using PVA glue, I attached both hearts on to the front of the card and let it dry. Christmas Robins Christmas cards - 2 cards for 1 -  Day 323 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's challenge (day 323) is 2 for the "price" of one - Robins with 2 different sentiments that are quick and easy to make... How I made these cards:- Both cards have been made using the Christmas Robin mat and layer die set from Paper Boutique and I cut both of them out of 2 shades of brown card and then the breast part in red. I added the bodies of the Robins first of all to the mat making sure that the feet etc were in the right place. Once I was happy with them, I then added the red breasts using PVA glue. I used a White Gel pen to add a dot in their eyes and also a bit to the front of the breast to give it some dimension. Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer Happy Christmas card -  Day 322 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card for day 322 of my 365 day challenge is a fun Christmas card featuring Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.... How I made this card:- I first of all used two Tattered Lace nesting square dies to create the background - the paper is from Hunkydory's striped 8" paper pad and I have used 2 sheets of the same design - the larger die for the stripe and using the reverse side of the paper for the smaller one. I then stuck them together trying to make sure that there was an equal border all around it. I then stamped out the Rudolph image (from Woodware) on to some white card and then coloured it in using alcohol markers - I must admit that I am really pleased with the nose - it looks shiny just be leaving a bit of white in it. Season's Greetings Cute Penguins in a row DL card -  Day 320 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Goodness, it is less than 6 weeks till Christmas now and so I thought I better start posting some of the Christmas cards I have made... So here is the first one! How I made this card:- I first of all stamped out the penguin strip on to some white card using Tuxedo Black Memento ink - as it is a long stamp I used my Eureka 101 stamping platform to do this. I then coloured them in with various alcohol markers. I decided to then stick them on to a strip of vellum/parchment as I wanted to add them to the striped background. As you wouldn't be seeing the glue, I used a PVA glue to do this. Once it was dry, I added some narrow ultra strong red liner tape to either edge of the parchment and attached it to the red and white backing paper. This background is slightly narrower than the white DL card (side fold) and so glued it to the front of it leaving a small space ...

Set of 6 mini cards or gift tags birds, butterflies and flowers -  Day 319 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I am so pleased with how this set of 6 mini cards/gift tags turned out - I hope you like them too! How I made these cards/gift tags:- All these cards or gift tags have been decorated using toppers made from a set of stamps and matching dies from Vicki Boutin (part of American Crafts). I first of all took 6 mini cards (from Craftwork Cards) and used Creative Expressions Iridescent Shimmer Watercolour paints (Perfect Pastels) to colour a background on each of them.  Whilst leaving them to dry naturally, I then stamped the bird and flower from the set  onto some white stamping card with Tuxedo Black Memento ink as I was going to used alcohol markers. I then coloured them in using various colours trying to co-ordinate them with the backgrounds - such as orange and yellow for the bird, pink and purple for the flower and so on. Once I was happ...

With Love Fairy with fawn card -  Day 318 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft Addicts! Today's card is one that could be used as a Christmas card for day 318 of my 365 day challenge... How I made this card:- I used a mix of blue colours from the Bleeding Art Tissue by spritzing some water on to a craft mat (or glass mat) and placed them on to it until the colour had transferred on to it. I then used a paint brush to colour a panel (approx 5" x 3") of white water colour card (or good quality stamping card) until I was happy with the result - I added darker shades to the top and then some lighter ones on the bottom (along with some purple too). I let it dry and then splattered it with some water and took the excess off with some kitchen towel. I edged it with a black alcohol marker  and stuck it to the front of a A6 white card. Two for Tuesday - two cards silhouette flower and fox -  Day 317 of my 365 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I have made two cards today for Day 317 of my 365 day challenge - both with hand painted backgrounds and dies.... How I made this card:- Both of these cards are simple to make as I had hand painted the tags beforehand.... Card 1 (blank no message). I first of all decided that the tag that I had painted in various blue shades (using Kuretake's Gansai Tambai watercolours) would highlight the flowers well so used that one. I first of all cut out the flowers in white card, using a Tattered Lace die and stuck it on to the front of the label tag at a slight angle - I used Midas Touch Sticky dots to do this. I then attached the tag on to the front of an A6 white card at a slight angle using Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue. Card 2 (Thank You - fox in silhouette) .
