Thanks - flowers and circles lacy shaped card
Hi Craft addicts!
Today's card (well made yesterday) is a "Thank you" card which I have made using a lovely shaped card from Hunkydory, some Altenew stamps and inks and a couple of Tattered Lace flower dies.
How I made this card:-
- I first of all took out all the bits of the lacy card and then, using the "Ballet" mask/stencil from "For The Love of Stamps" collection from Hunkydory and coloured the edge of it using the "Blue" inks from DoCrafts on all sides of the cards (both in and out)
- I then cut out the middle two scallops from both the front and the back to give it a different feel to it.
- Using the "Half tone circles" stamps from Altenew, I coloured the front of the card with "Parrot, Olive and Ruby Red" inks again from Altenew.
- I had also coloured and then embossed some card which I then cut out using a Tattered Lace flower die (not sure which one) and another one using some parchment and blue card and attached them to the front of the card.
- I used the "Thanks" sentiment to stamp the greeting, this time using the "Pitch Black" Rare Earth pigment ink.
- Finally, I added a small circle to the parchment flower and then some red Nuvo drops to add a bit of colour.
And there you are - a simple but stylish card that has been made using just some floral dies, a variety of Altenew crisp dye ink pads and stamps.
