Dandelion heads stamped and coloured square card
Dandelion heads stamped and coloured square card
Hi Craft addicts!
So, for today's post, I have made this striking but simple card using Hunkydory's "In my Thoughts" from the For the Love of Stamps collection, some black card and coloured using distress inks.
How I made this card:-
- I first of all took 4 pre-cut deckle edged panels (67mm square) and stamped the largest of the "Dandelion" heads (from the "In My Thoughts" set of stamps from Hunkydory's For the Love of Stamps collection using the "Smokey Grey" Versafine ink pad in the centre of each of them.
- I then coloured 2 panels using Altenew's "Red" shades Crispy Ink pads leaving the centre lighter than the outer edges.
- I repeated this using DoCrafts Blue inks on the remaining 2 panels.
- Once they were all dry, I cut out a larger panel in black card (Lynda Chapman's from Creative Crafting World) that was slightly bigger and glued the 4 of them on to it in a symmetrical pattern - leaving a narrow border around them all.
- I then stuck the whole panel on to a 7" white card in the middle of it.
And there you are - a simple but stylish card that has been made using just some some pre cut panels, some stamps from Hunkydory. some Versafine ink and ink pads. It also has room for a sentiment in the middle of the card.
