Just for you - trio of hearts DL card - Valentine's Day  Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is for Valentine's Day but could be used for anyone wanting to say they are thinking of someone! How I made this card:- I have had these "hearts" from Craftwork Cards some time and suddenly had this idea as to how I could use them.... I first of all took a piece of rectangular white card and cut out a panel (3 squares) using the trio die from Tattered Lace. I then used a panel die from Sue Wilson to finish it off. I added each of the 3 "Hearts" on to the "waste" parts using a tape runner and edged them all in a variety of colours (trying to match them to the hearts). I also cut out a larger rectangular panel (again using one of the Sue Wilson dies) in "Red and white" dotty paper and glued the base panel on to it. I then added the "Hearts" back on to the card using foam pads to raise them off the card. I then use...

Love cats on spotty background - 7" x 5" white card  Hi Craft Addicts! Something bright and cheerful for today when it is so miserable outside! I have used a Tonic Studios die, some dotty background paper on this 7" x 5" card. How I made this card:- I first of all cut out a panel of the "Red and white" dotty background paper (from Kanban) approximately 17x11cm and placed a narrow strip of "Red" satin ribbon to the centre of it (I used red liner tape to hold it in piece) and glued it on to a 7" x 5" white card. I then cut out the Tonic Studios "Love Cats  cats with a heart" die out in 3 different colours - "Black", "Green" and "Red" cardstock. I used the "Black" one as the basis for my topper, and then cut the "Green" Leaves part out and finally used the "Red" heart. Life is a journey... Butterfly in flight.. 6" white card Hi Craft Addicts! Today's card is a bright and cheerful card using the "Delicate Detail Butterfly" die from Tattered Lace along with their "Torn Edge" die. I used some Hunkydory stamps and Blue Mirri card... How I made this card... I cut out the "Butterfly" detail die (from Tattered Lace Delicate Detail series) in some white cardstock. I then coloured the "Butterfly" with Cosmic Shimmer "Pastel Green" and "Pastel Aqua" and "Violet Frost" Mica paints and let it dry. Using the "Torn Edges" Rectangle die from Tattered Lace and cut around the die cut. I also repeated the process with some "Metallic blue" and stuck the white panel on to the Mirri card. I finished that off by edging the whole thing in a "Bright Blue" alcohol marker. I then used some "Bright Blue" ink (from DoCrafts Papermania) and...

Steampunk Owl mini pallet art wall hanging Hi Craft Addicts! This was really enjoyable to make as it is slightly different from the cards I usually do!  How I made this wall hanging:- The background on which the owl has been placed has been made using a "feather" die-cut as a stencil which I coloured through using "Pinks, Blues and Yellows" distress/dye based inks - Tim Holtz and Generation INX mainly... Whilst that was drying, I then cut out all of the elements - they are all dies from Tattered Lace (Owl, cogs and hats) using Silver Mirri card. I then coloured them in using "Pink, Green, and Blue" shades of alcohol markers - Spectrum Noir, Tonic Nuvo or Promarkers are great for this. I allowed these to dry overnight before handling them again as they are very slippy straight away. Bee's Knees - Beehive and bees 7" x 5" white card Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is one made using some Tattered Lace dies, some Hunkydory stamps and Kanban cardstock. How I made this card:- I first of all took a piece of "Yellow" striped cardstock (which is part of the Tear & Share card collection from Kanban) and cut out the "beehive" and the larger of the "bees" using the "Hive of Bees" die collection from Tattered Lace. I then used the "Torn Edge" rectangle die from Tattered Lace and cut out a panel leaving a small border around the pattern. I placed the whole panel on to some "black" cardstock and added some of the "hive" back into it using the "yellow" card. Using the larger of the "bees" stamp from the "Bee's Knees" For the Love of Stamps collection from Hunkydory, I stamped along the edge of the card using Onyx Black Versafine ink. I also...

Best Wishes Oriental Lady 7x5in card - new year, new challenge... Hi Craft addicts! First of all I hope you had a great Christmas and have a really happy New Year! Personally, I am amazed that I completed my 366 day challenge and am now working on my next one.. I aim to do as many challenges and blogs as possible but maybe not one a day :)  So, today's challenge is using a pre cut "Oriental Lady" silhouette topper (from Pinflair), some dye based inks on a 7" x 5" white card... How I made this card:- I cut out the "Oriental Lady" from the Pinflair Background Artist pack and coloured the background in "Blue" dye based inks placing a "circle" at the top of it as a mask. I also left some space towards the "mountain area" and then coloured that using some "Red and Orange" Generation INX pads trying to give a "cloud" effect. Hip, Hip Horray - Celebrate Happy New Year - DL balloons card - Day 366 of my 366 day challenge- Day 366 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is a celebratory card - I have completed my 366 day challenge and am now thinking as to what to do for my next one starting tomorrow! This one is made by using some Peel Off stickers, some embellishments from Craftwork Cards and a DL card from Hunkydory! How I made this card:- I first of all cut out the pink "serrated edged" border strip using a template on CANVAS and cut it out using my Brother ScanNCut. Before I glued all of it down, I added some twine to the "Hip,Hip Hooray" tag and placed part of it under the strip so that it was attached. I had coloured the "Champagne Flutes" peel off stickers using alcohol markers and cut it out using a Spellbinders ornate frame die  and added it to the middle of the card using foam pads.
