Live - Art Deco flower on Art Deco Frame - 7x5in card Hi Craft addicts! I recently got the Art Deco dies from Tattered Lace and so have made this 7" x 5" card using the frame set and the Iris flower in the same collection. I also used some Mirri card and a Tonic Studio sentiment. How I made this card:- I took the larger of the 2 Tattered Lace Art Deco Frame dies and cut it out in Mirri card - it looks silver but it has a slight bluish tinge to it which makes it more interesting. I then repeated the process using the smaller frame but this time using red cardstock. I glued both of them to a piece of Lynda Chapman's black card and cut round the frame and then added it to the front of a 7" x 5" card (from Hunkydory). I also cut out the Tattered Lace Art Deco Classic Iris in the same silvery Mirri card and glued it to the centre of the card. I used one of the smaller panels left from the frame and glued the Tonic Studios "Live" sentiment t...

Blast off - 3.2.1 Triple aperture DL card...  Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is a fun space themed card I have made using Hunkydory's "Out of this world" set of stamps, some inks from Altenew and DoCrafts, along with my Chameleon pencils (which I really love).... How I made this card... I used two of the Hunkydory's DL triple aperture card and cut the front of one of them (trimming it slightly to make sure it fitted the back of the remaining card). I then took the aperture circles out (removing the frames) and stamped 3 of them with the Spaceman, Earth and Spacecraft (from the Out of this World Stamp collection from Hunkydory's "For the Love of Stamps" using Tuxedo Blank Memento ink and left them to dry a bit. I also used the small rocket from the collection and stamped the front of the main card. I then coloured them all in using a variety of Chameleon pencils, Alcohol markers and inks. I wanted the circles to "hang" from ...

Happy Easter bunny ornate card - hand stamped and coloured. Hi Craft addicts! With Easter approaching fast, I thought I would make this fun but simple card using a "Bunny" stamp I found in my stash... How I made this card:- I took the holey card (from Hunkydory) and took out all the dots so it was ready.... I then coloured a square piece of card (which I had cut out using one of the middle size "Torn Edge Rectangles" dies from Tattered Lace. I used some Altenew "Tropical Forest" inks and coloured in the grass on the bottom half of the card (masking off the top half whilst doing it). I then added a circle mask and coloured the top half with blue inks (Docrafts and Tim Holtz Distress inks) for the sky. I also added a few darker patches to make it look as if there were some small clouds. I stamped the "Bunny" image on to it and coloured it in using various alcohol markers (from Altenew and Spectrum Noir). The "Happy Easter...

Flowers and buttons 7x5in white card - no message Hi Craft addicts! So today's card is one that I have made using up various die cuts and flowers I had lying around.... How I made this card:- I first of all cut out 2 corners (I am not sure which ones they are) using Green Mirror card and glued them to the opposite corners of a 7x5in card. I then cut out the lattice style square using white card and coloured the outside edge using an alcohol marker. I then coloured the inside edge with a darker one. For the flower I used some black card to create the base layer, then added 3 more layers of flowers (they are nesting dies so was able to add the pale yellow one to the pale blue one and then added the white one slightly offset to the others. I edged the card using some green Altenew ink I also cut out the "ivy" in white card and coloured it using green alcohol markers and glued them all to the front of the card. Finally I glued 3 small buttons to the top righ...

Thanks - flowers and circles lacy shaped card Hi Craft addicts! Today's card (well made yesterday) is a "Thank you" card which I have made using a lovely shaped card from Hunkydory, some Altenew stamps and inks and a couple of Tattered Lace flower dies. How I made this card:- I first of all took out all the bits of the lacy card and then, using the "Ballet" mask/stencil from "For The Love of Stamps" collection from Hunkydory and coloured the edge of it using the "Blue" inks from DoCrafts on all sides of the cards (both in and out) I then cut out the middle two scallops from both the front and the back to give it a different feel to it. Using the "Half tone circles" stamps from Altenew, I coloured the front of the card with "Parrot, Olive and Ruby Red" inks again from Altenew. I had also coloured and then embossed some card which I then cut out using a Tattered Lace flower die (not sure which one) and anothe...

When Life gives you troubles blow bubbles - C6 hand coloured card Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is a hand stamped, hand coloured one using some Altenew stamps and inks along with some Hunkydory Mirri card.  How I made this card:- I used one of the smaller "Halftone Circle" stamps from Altenew and stamped the front of a C6 white card (from the Paper Boutique collection from Creative Crafting World). I used "Ruby Red" and "Parrot" inks from Altenew and the "Tea Dye" Tim Holtz Ranger distress ink pads to do this. I then coloured a narrow panel (which I had cut out using Sue Wilson's striplet border die) using pale green and blue inks to give a landscape feel - I kept the card in the die whilst doing this to give a white border all around it. I glued it to some "Purple" Mirri card. Using the "Girl silhouette" which is part of the "Let the Wind carry you" stamp collection again from Altene...
