Steampunk Owl on DL portrait card using Graphic 45 paper.... Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is a DL cream linen effect card which I have embossed with gold glitter and some Graphic 45 paper. How I made this card:- I had this scrap of paper (from Steampunk Spells from Graphic 45) I think - and so cut a rectangle out using a Creative Expressions Panel die making sure that the owl and raven were the main focal points. I then backed it onto some black card (Lynda Chapman's from Creative Crafting World). I then used some of the stamps from the "Time to Celebrate" collection from Hunkydory's For the Love of Stamps set - either using Versafine "Vintage Sepia" (for the larger clock) or some Perfect Medium (or Versamark) and gold glittery embossing powder from Dreamees. I placed the whole panel on to the front of the card with some foam pads to give it some height.  And there you are  - a fun general Steampunk Owl themed card that has been made...

Home Sweet Home - Magic Fairy toadstool shaped card Hi Craft addicts! It's been a few days since I have been on here - apologies for that but aim to rectify that! This card is a fun "New Home" card that I have made using mainly Hunkydory products from their shaped cards to their "For the love of stamps collection. How I made this card:- I used a pre-cut deckle edged off white square panel (from Craft Creations) and stamped the circle (from Rare Earth) in "Onyx Black" Versafine ink. I then stamped the "toadstool house" in the circle (again using Versafine) and then coloured it in using Zig Clean Color pens in red, orange, brown and yellow. Using Altenew inks (green shades) I then added the grass and leaves and shaded them using a waterbrush. I also added the flowers in each corner using "Broken China" (blue) Tim Holtz Distress inks and the "Dragonflies" in the Versafine black ink. I then attached the panel onto ...

On your special day - Art Deco lady DL card Hi Craft addicts! Today's card has been made using a Tattered Lace Art Deco die, some Craftwork Stamps along with Altenew and Tim Holtz inks. How I made this card:- I cut out the Art Deco lady (Molly) using the Tattered Lace Die in white supersmooth cardstock. I coloured it using Orange, green and brown Zig Color markers - I love these as they allow you to add shading etc quite easily. I mat and layered it onto a panel of Silvery Grey Mirri Card and set it aside whilst I embossed the bottom 1/3rd of a tall tent fold DL card from the Paper Boutique set from Creative Crafting World. I then took the Art Deco strip from the Craftwork Cards Stamp set and stamped it using the Bamboo mini ink cube from Altenew. I added the Rose to either end of the strip in Spiced Marmalade (again the stamp came from the Art Deco set from Craftwork Cards. Using some glue, I then attached the main panel to the front of the card trying to make su...

A Kind Word.... hand stamped and coloured scene 7" x 5" card Hi Craft addicts! It has been a few days since I last posted something but here is one that I have made today using some stamps, inks and dies. How I made this card:- I first of all took some white card and cut out the panel using one of the Create & Craft rectangle dies. Leaving it in the die, I used some Tim Holtz blue Distress Inks (Salty Ocean & Broken China) along with one of the DoCrafts ink pads to colour in the sky (masking off the area for the ground). I then used Altenew inks (Parrot etc) to colour in the grass (masking various places to create some dimension). I took it out of the die and placed it on to some black card. I added the birds and the main grass area from a Craftwork Cards stamp set and the sentiment and other grass bits from a couple of Hunkydory For the Love of Stamps sets. Using different sizes from the  "Torn Edge" rectangle die set from Tattered Lace, I ...
