Hip, Hip Horray - Celebrate Happy New Year - DL balloons card - Day 366 of my 366 day challenge- Day 366 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card is a celebratory card - I have completed my 366 day challenge and am now thinking as to what to do for my next one starting tomorrow! This one is made by using some Peel Off stickers, some embellishments from Craftwork Cards and a DL card from Hunkydory! How I made this card:- I first of all cut out the pink "serrated edged" border strip using a template on CANVAS and cut it out using my Brother ScanNCut. Before I glued all of it down, I added some twine to the "Hip,Hip Hooray" tag and placed part of it under the strip so that it was attached. I had coloured the "Champagne Flutes" peel off stickers using alcohol markers and cut it out using a Spellbinders ornate frame die  and added it to the middle of the card using foam pads. I then used some "Balloons" from the ...

Cute frogs hand coloured and stamped 6in card -  Day 364 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card has been made using a cute "frog" stamp from Heartfelt Creations , the matching die on a 6in card. How I made this card :- I first of all stamped the "Flirting Frogs" stamp from the Winking Frogs collection by Heartfelt Creations onto some white stamping card and coloured the lily pad in using some pink shades of alcohol markers.  I then used green shades of alcohol markers to colour in the two frogs and allowed it to dry. Using the co-ordinating die from the same collection, I cut it out. I then went into CANVAS (the Brother ScanNCut web app) and selected two styles of border strips and cut them out in a darker and lighter pink cardstock. i attached them to the centre of a 6" white card using a tape pen. I also stuck the "Frog" topper to the middle of them both again using a tape pen. For the sentiment I used the...

Kingfisher Pollyanna Pickering Lacey 6in card -  Day 363 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! So today's challenge - day 363 is a lovely Pollyanna Pickering of "Whiffy" the Kingfisher topper on a 6in square lacey card. How I made this card:- The "Kingfisher" topper (named Whiffy) is part of the UK wildlife card kit from Pollyanna Pickering (Creative Crafting World) and I attached it to a white panel that I had cut out using a die from Spellbinders. I then cut out the next layer using an "Art Deco" SVG file from "Gentleman Crafter" in purple and black. I glued them all on top of each other and then added it to the 6" fancy edged card (Hunkydory). Finally I added some "Strawberry Coulis" Jewel Nuvo drops (from Tonic Studios) to the purple frame. And there you are - a striking card that I made using some dies, a Pollyanna Pickering topper and an SVG file. Don't  f orget you can visit  The Handmade...

Season's Greetings Rudolph and parcels DL Christmas card -  Day 355 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft Addicts! It is so near Christmas time now but I have made this "Season's Greetings" DL card using some dies, a hand coloured background and some Nuvo drops.... How I made this card:- I first of all took a pre-cut "Deckle edged" panel (from Craft Creations) and coloured a sky scene using various shades of "Blue" and "Black" distress and dye based ink using a circle of card to mask of the moon.  Once I was happy with the overall effect, I took away the mask and very lightly coloured the moon to look as if there were some clouds moving across it. I then cut out the "Rudolph" and "Sleigh" in dark "Kraft" card and glue them on to the panel using CS glue. I also used some "Clear" Wink of Stella on the moon to make it sparkle. I had some of the "parcels" already coloured (they a...

Robins on branches - 2 C6 Christmas cards - Day 353 of my 366 day challenge

Robins on branches - 2 C6 Christmas cards -  Day 353 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! I have written a couple of days ago about a card I made using these toppers but when I came to look at it again, I realised that I had stamped the sentiment upside down! So rather than wasting the toppers, I used them to make these. How I made these cards:- I had, as I said earlier, both these toppers already which I had made out of a couple of peel off stickers which I had placed on pentagons coloured by using some "Blue - B01" Generation INX dies. I then mat and layered them to a couple of label/tag shapes which I had cut out in blue card and added that to some cream cardstock. I had also cut out a "jagged edged" strip out of "blue" card which I had cut  out using my Brother ScanNCut and trimmed it to fit both of the cards in the centre of them. I then glued on the toppers using CS glue. Finally I used a "flower" stamp (I can't ...

Abstract modern patterns - DL white card - Day 352 of my 366 day challenge

Abstract modern patterns - DL white card -  Day 352 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Today's card for my challenge has a general theme with no snowman, Father Christmas in sight!  I have used peel off stickers, Mica paints and a general sentiment to make this card. How I made this card:- I first of all took two matching "Abstract" peel off sticker panels and placed them on some super smooth card. Using Mica paints, I coloured both of them in trying to match the colours in each of them. I left them to dry and added them to a pre-cut deckle edged "Black" panel using CS glue. I then cut out a border strip in "black" card using my Brother ScanNCut and placed it in the centre of a DL card using CS glue again. I used some fingerlift tape to attach the 2 panels to the front of the card and then added some colour to the "Just a Little Something for you" sentiment and placed it in the middle of the card using foam pads. An...

Snowman  scene 6" stamp shaped Christmas Card -  Day 351 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! Day 351 of my 366 day challenge and I have made this 6" Stamp shaped Christmas card using a "Snowman" topper from Hunkydory along with the card which is again from Hunkydory. How I made this card:- I first of all folded this 6" "Stamp" shaped card and took out the spare parts in the crease. I then removed the central aperture panel as I would be using it later. I stamped the front of the card using a "flower" stamp (I think from Tattered Lace) using a "Blue" dye based ink mini pad (from DoCrafts Papermania) - 2nd and 3rd generation the flower to give it a different effect. I then took one of the "Snowman" topper sheets from Hunkydory's "Sparkling Season" Little Book of Toppers and cut it out using Tonic Studios' "Threaded Scallop Square" die making sure that it fitted the ape...

Happy Christmas - Snowman with broom DL card - day 350 of my 366 day challenge

Happy Christmas - Snowman with broom DL card -  day 350 of my 366 day challenge Hi Craft addicts! So today's card is one using the "Snowman with broom" peel off again - this time a DL Christmas card. How I made this card:- I really love these "Snowmen" peel off stickers and so once again have made a Christmas card using them. I first of all added the sticker to some super smooth card and coloured the background (masking off the snowman) using some "Blue - B01" Generation INX inks using more at the top of the card to make it darker (and leaving some white space around the snowman). I had added the peel off sticker "Snowflakes" before I coloured it and removed them once I had finished (using them like a stencil). I also masked off some of the lower part of the card and left it white so it looked like snow. I then coloured the scarf and hat in using "Red and Yellow" alcohol markers and the broom with 2 shades of ...
